Program Overview

INTech Academy is an inclusive experience that provides an introduction to the vast and diverse career opportunities existing in the technology industry.

Scholars will meet once each week for 9 weeks from February 14 through April 11, 2021.

Meet Women in Tech

Each week you will meet women who will share stories about their careers in the technology industry! At companies like Google, Apple, Slalom, and Netflix (just to name a few). You will hear from women working in fields like computer programming, user experience, and artificial intelligence, and more.

Learn About COMPUTER ENGINEERING

As a part of your registration for INTech Academy, you will receive a Lingo Coding Kit that contains all the materials you need to bring your ideas and inventions to life. With the Lingo Kit curriculum, you will explore systems thinking through simple circuits and coding, and you'll build skills to create your own creations.

Build Your Network

Build strong relationships with girls who, just like you, are interested in technology. You will learn and grow alongside your cohort of scholars and build lasting friendships over the 9 weeks.

We invite High School girls who have an interest in technology to join the first-ever virtual INTech Academy.

Frequently asked questions

Are there scholarships available?

Yes, we are offering scholarships to those who identify a need. You may click the "Join Us" button above and select the scholarship ticket by Friday, January 29 to be eligible for a scholarship.

Is this open to girls in any location?

Yes, please sign up and join us! Note that all sessions will meet on Sundays (beginning February 14) from 4:00pm - 5:30pm Eastern Standard Time.

What age group is eligible for camp?

Girls ages 14-18 or girls who are in 8th, 9th, 10th , 11th or 12th grades are eligible for camp.

Is there a discount if I have more than one student in my household?

Yes, we have a discount code in the event that there are sisters registering from the same household. E-mail camp@intechcamp.org if you would like to use the discount code.

Are there refunds available?

We understand that circumstances change, if you must cancel then please be aware of these dates:

- Before Friday, February 12th, a 50% refund of registration fees will be issued.
- After Friday, February 12th, there will be NO registration fee refund available.*

*In the event of illness or family emergency we will review each refund request on a case by case basis

Will we need a computer and reliable internet connection?

Yes, should you need assistance with obtaining reliable wifi or a computer for your scholar to participate, please email camp@intechcamp.org and we will do our best to assist you.

Will we need to install anything on our computer for camp?

Yes, scholars will need to access Zoom for weekly sessions. You can install Zoom for free on your computer.

Additionally, scholars will engage in a coding activity that will require a free software download for installation on your computer.

Lastly, scholars will need a web browser (Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, etc.) to participate in the curriculum.
